Co-ownership in the Norwegian company Swipload

With the investor trio of Tschudi Logistics, R-Venture and DSS, Swipload gets new owners and raises NOK 4,5 million for future growth. All three owners want to participate actively in the work of building Swipload into Norway’s and Scandinavia’s leading digital platform for transport procurement and digital brokerage.

Founder and CEO of Swipload, Stian Vere comments on the recent transaction: “We are convinced that we have created a product that is already today able to streamline the way you procure transport. With three new and very solid investors behind us, we now have the peace we need to focus on sales and user growth.”

Swipload is a digital solution connecting transport buyers with quality-assured Norwegian carriers across the country. Also taking care of invoicing and settlement.

The trio believe Swipload and the solution the company has now launched will play a major role in the future way of ordering and managing transport purchases. It is also a solution that will help reduce the transport industry’s climate emissions, and at the same time be a technological driver for the industry to operate more efficiently and purposefully.

With only a few clicks those looking for transport can access a growing number of carriers across the country. Not only is this quickly accessible – you can also find carriers that deliver tailor-made services according to your particular needs.

For active buyers of transport, using several different transport companies, Swipload offers a seamless solution and a one-point-of-entry for procurement. This saves time on manual brokerage by phone and email and gives buyers an easier and better overview. Swipload is a cost-effective provider to increased earnings and more efficient utilization of vehicle fleets. Further plans are also to include the development of a separate CO2 accounting for the transport.

Managing Director Eskil Ødegaard in Tschudi Logistics comments on their acquisition and importance of keeping up with digitalisation:

We quickly found out that Swipload was something we wanted to be a part of, and we are confident in the potential of both the solution and the market. If you as a freight forwarder now do not keep up with the digitalisation that is pushing forward, you may risk being left behind.

There are two other incredibly exciting investors on the team here, which is of course very positive. I also experience that it is a good match among the other entrepreneurs. This is a good foundation for what we will achieve together in the future.”
