Rail freight made easy
Our fleet
Rail shipment of 20’ and 40’ containers. We also own a fleet consisting of 20’ DC and 40’ PWHC containers. Our 40’ PWHC containers have a payload of 29,6 tons and can load 30 EURO Pallets.
Where to?
Various rail routes covering Central Asia, Mongolia and China. We are especially experienced in ocean freights to the Baltics and dispatching cargo by rail to Central Asia and other CIS countries.
We are flexible
We provide port terminal handlings. Delivery to site can be arranged after customs are made, even though delivery terms are originally FOR/free on rail stations.
Project cargo
Get your oversized cargo to destination with rail! Our project transport solutions include rail amongst other modalities, giving you the upmost flexibility.
Connecting East and West
We transport to Kazakhstan (Almaty, Astana, and Aturau); Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek); Mongolia (Ulaanbaatar); and Uzbekistan (Tashkent).
Starting points are Rotterdam in The Netherlands, Duisburg in Germany, or Brest in Belarus, and all transports go through Brest.
Reduce your environmental impact while choosing reliability
Using rail as a way of transporting cargo is not only reliable and effective, it is also better for the environment compared to many other forms of transportation.
On average, trains emit up to nine times less CO2 and particulate emissions than road transport. Rail freight is also far more space-efficient with a single train replacing 50 truckloads of traffic. Additionally, trains are highly reliable. This is exemplified by railway transport being the only mode of transport not significantly affected by COVID-19 lockdowns (source).
When you choose rail freight, you help minimise the environmental impact of your transport needs.
Cheaper than air, faster than ocean!
According to cost and transit time, rail freight is generally cheaper than air freight and faster than ocean freight. There are many benefits to using rail freight over other modes of transportation.
Reliability
First of all, rail is superior to road freight when it comes to reliability. As railways have standardised transit schedules and do not share tracks like trucks share roads, they are not hindered by unforeseen traffic or weather conditions like trucks are.
Price
Secondly, rail freight is most often more cost-effective than other modes of transportation. Trains burn less fuel per ton mile than trucks and this results in lower fuel costs – especially when shipping a high volume of cargo.
